CU Medicine Interventional Pulmonology — Highlands Ranch provides compassionate, comprehensive and patient-centered care diagnosing and treating diseases of the lungs, airways and chest cavity.
Our interventional pulmonology specialists, faculty at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine, use advanced minimally invasive techniques to treat diseases of the lungs, airways and chest cavity, with a focus on improving quality of life and delivering evidence-based care.
We care for patients with pulmonary nodules, lung cancer, airway disorders, pleural diseases and advanced emphysema. Our providers are specialized in advanced diagnostic procedures, including robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) which may help patients receive faster, more accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
We also provide therapeutic airway interventions for airway tumors, tracheal stenosis, tracheobronchomalacia and other complex airway conditions, using techniques such as tumor debulking, airway stenting and ablative therapies.
Our practice offers comprehensive pleural disease management, including indwelling pleural catheters, medical thoracoscopy and pleurodesis. We additionally offer bronchoscopic lung volume reduction for appropriately selected patients with severe emphysema. We also evaluate and treat interstitial and diffuse parenchymal lung diseases using advanced bronchoscopic techniques, including transbronchial cryobiopsy, and provide specialized care for patients requiring airway management, tracheostomy procedures or treatment for hemoptysis.
Whether care involves advanced diagnostic testing, minimally invasive procedures or collaborative treatment planning, our clinic is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs. Working closely with specialists in oncology, thoracic surgery, radiology and critical care, we offer expert interventional pulmonology services in Highlands Ranch with convenient access for patients throughout the south Denver metro area, including Littleton, Centennial and Ken Caryl.
