Canceling or Rescheduling an Appointment

Who is CU Medicine?

CU Medicine (University of Colorado Medicine) is the Rocky Mountain region’s largest and most comprehensive multispecialty physician group practice. There are over 75 CU Medicine primary and specialty healthcare clinics across Colorado’s Front Range and throughout metro Denver. In addition to in-person care at CU Medicine clinics, virtual visits (also known as telehealth or telemedicine) are offered for patients throughout Colorado and other select states.

CU Medicine also provides billing services for over 4,000 physicians and advanced practice providers who are faculty at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine and deliver clinical care. When you see a healthcare provider who is a CU Anschutz School of Medicine faculty member, whether that’s at a CU Medicine clinic or at a hospital or clinic operated by one of our affiliate partners, the billing for the provider’s professional services will be processed by CU Medicine.

What is the relationship between CU Medicine and UCHealth?

CU Medicine and UCHealth are closely affiliated partners but are not the same organization or legal entity.

CU Medicine is the faculty practice plan for the CU Anschutz School of Medicine. CU Medicine physicians and advanced practice providers are faculty at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine, where they train new providers and work closely with researchers who are developing breakthrough treatments. These CU Medicine providers also deliver healthcare services at CU Medicine clinics and at many of the hospitals and clinics operated by UCHealth, including UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital.
