Clinic Information:

Interventional Radiology (IR) at CU Medicine offers minimally invasive, image-guided treatments to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical issues, including vascular disease, cancer, spine and joint problems, women’s health, men’s health and more. These procedures are often done in outpatient settings, involve small incisions, require little to no hospitalization, and reduce recovery time compared to traditional surgery.

Visit cumedicineir.com to learn more about our interventional radiology treatments and expert doctors.

Why Choose Our Outpatient Lab

At our Ridgeline Medical Campus, all Interventional Radiology procedures are performed in our state-of-the-art office-based lab (OBL). This outpatient setting provides a safe, comfortable alternative to the hospital environment — without the long waits or confusing hallways.

Patients benefit from:

  • More personalized care

  • Relaxed, outpatient setting

  • Convenient scheduling and shorter recovery times

Our team uses the latest technologies to deliver minimally invasive treatments that help you return to normal life faster, often with little to no downtime.

Why Treatment Matters

Many vascular or joint conditions worsen without intervention. For example, untreated varicose veins may lead to swelling, skin changes, pain or ulcers. A spinal fracture left untreated can cause ongoing pain, decreased mobility or worsening deformity. Early minimally invasive treatments often prevent complications, reduce long-term damage and improve quality of life.
