Clinic Information:

CU Medicine Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Longmont facilitates expert streamlined medical care for conditions affecting the spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Our center treats pain as a result of an injury, illness, aging, or disabling condition. Our board certified physiatrists focus on treating the whole person, rather than just your injury, in order to alleviate your pain and restore your mobility and desired lifestyle.

We are here to listen with compassion and work collaboratively with our patients in order to meet your needs. Our team’s interdisciplinary work with physical therapists, occupational therapists, physician extenders, chiropractors, primary care and sports physicians, neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists and many others optimizes patient care and outcome.

Our center offers an array of treatment modalities, including Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS). EMG/NCS testing is used to determine:

  • If the problem is related to nerves or muscles
  • The presence of nerve damage
  • The cause of nerve damage
