Clinic Information:

The Stress, Trauma, Adversity, Research and Treatment (START) Center is a collaborative hub of interdisciplinary experts dedicated to advancing trauma research and delivering compassionate, whole-person care. We prioritize trauma-informed and healing-centered approaches, working closely with programs across CU and within the broader community to ensure our practices are grounded in the latest evidence. We understand that trauma is widespread and deeply impacts physical and mental health, relationships and overall quality of life — and we’re committed to addressing it with empathy, innovation and integrity.

Now Offering RESET: A Mind-Body IOP for Trauma

The START Clinic is proud to offer RESET, an innovative Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed for adults 18+ whose trauma impacts daily life. RESET integrates somatic therapies — including EMDR, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) — to support healing through mind-body connection. As the only in-person IOP in Colorado focused on treating complex trauma through body-centered psychotherapies, RESET provides a unique path to recovery.
