There is so much power in knowing about your own health and your own body, and I believe that kids and teens are traditionally not involved in their own healthcare decision making. Being a provider specifically for this population allows me the amazing opportunity to help teach kids and teens that they are in charge of their own bodies and have the right to make decisions for themselves.
