I serve patients with complex medical and neurological problems that often go beyond the eye, and my approach is to make as specific a diagnosis as possible with the goal of improving visual function and overall health through medical and surgical treatments.

Clinical Interest for Patients

I provide medical and surgical care for patients with many neuro-ophthalmic conditions including thyroid eye disease, pseudotumor cerebri, optic nerve problems, double vision, orbital tumors, and brain tumors causing visual problems.

Information for Referring and Transferring Patients

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers

My interests include thyroid eye disease (medical and surgical management), pseudotumor cerebri, orbital tumors, adult strabismus/surgery, optic neuropathy, and skull base tumor surgery.

Research Interest for Referring Providers

My primary research interest involves the characterization of visual dysfunction induced by efferent (ocular motor) disorders at both the supranuclear and infranuclear levels. Our efforts are directed at identifying predictors of spontaneous recovery as well as persistent deficits in order to target those patients who would benefit most from early intervention.
